This includes research on asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants. Dr. Annette Gerritsen was the principal investigator on the baseline study on the health and health care use of asylum seekers and refugees in the Netherlands conducted from 2003-2004. The client

"For our research project on health and health care for refugees in the Netherlands, we asked Annette Gerristen to be part of both the advisory committee and the research group. Her longstanding experience in the field of public health and epidemiological knowledge is very valuable for our research on this very specific group. Her pragmatic approach and acurate feed-back is an asset for this project."
