Healthism
Healthism is a Canadian based initiative aimed at developing a user friendly, personalized health technology which can help you live a healthier, fuller, disease-free life. This includes ‘Tracker’ to create health or lifestyle goals and ‘Preventer’ to obtain personalized screening reports for diseases in order to prevent these.
Recent project
As a pilot project for ‘Preventer’ a Diabetes Screening Tool was developed based on available evidence (all the important risk factors) in the scientific literature, but also taking into account that it is easy to complete and gives a simple estimate of the diabetes risk (low/high).
