Methodological soundness

Epi Result can assist in improving the methodological quality of research proposals, manuscripts for peer reviewed journals, Master and Ph.D. dissertations, book chapters and research reports by performing a peer review focussing on the soundness of the quantitative research methods.

Experience

  • Serving as a peer reviewer for several journals (e.g. Lancet, South African Medical Journal, Journal of Clinical Epidemiology)
  • External examinator for Master in Public Health dissertations of the University of Pretoria and the University of Limpopo (Medunsa)
  • Providing editorial support for a book from the INDEPTH Working Group in Migration and Urbanization
