Make sense of data

Epi Result offers statistical support with basic analysis of data using SPSS:

• Use of descriptive and graphical summaries to present study results
• Applying univariate and multivariate techniques (chi-square tests, t-tests, univariate and multivariate logistic regression, linear regression)
• Give guidance in the interpretation of research findings

Experience

Analyzed data from the following studies:

• Malaria incidence study in Limpopo Province, South Africa, using routinely collected data from the malaria control program
• A study on gender differences in health and health care in various ethnic groups in the Netherlands using national survey data
• A survey on the health and health care use of refugees and asylum seekers in The Netherlands
• A randomized controlled trial on the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome
