Proposal development

Epi Result can assist with turning a concept into an appropriate study design including:
  • objective review of the existing epidemiologic literature
  • data collection instruments (questionnaires)
  • logistical operations
  • analyses plans
Epi Result can also assist in obtaining grants for the proposed study.

Experience

  • Reviewing randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on malaria prevention and treatment in Africa
  • Published two systematic reviews on the conservative and surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)
  • Designed and planned a survey on the health of refugees and asylum seekers and a RCT on the treatment of CTS
  • Developed measurement instruments for the survey and RCT
