Methodology check
Developing research proposals
Do you have an idea for a research study but do not know how to write a proposal? I can give you guidance on what needs to be covered as well as what methods should be applied (design of the study, selection of the population, data-collection instruments, etc). If you already have a draft proposal, I can assist you with structuring the information as well as comment on the quality of the methods applied e.g. what should be done differently or needs to be clarified. A step-by-step approach is used when improving a research proposal, starting with finalizing the objectives of the study.
Improving study write-ups
Checking the methodology of a journal article or report focuses on the clarity of the writing up of the different sections of the document, as the actual methods of the study cannot be changed anymore. However, at this stage still changes in the analytical approach can be suggested, in order to improve the results of the study.
Are you looking for someone to critically review the methods of your research proposal, journal article or report? Just give me a call on +27 (0) 72 964 0548 or send an email to annette.gerritsen@epiresult.com
