GEE course

In July 2010 I did a 4-week online course on GEE (Generalized Estimating Equations) via Statistics.com. The instructors were Dr. James Hardin and Dr. Joseph Hilbe, authors of the book Generalized Estimating Equations (2003, Chapman & Hall/CRC). The course provided me with insight how datasets with e.g. repeated measures within individuals, clustering on household/village level are analysed, in order for me to understand the results if others did this type of analysis and/or to apply these techniques myself.

Presentations on SAHARA and PHASA conferences

The results of the 2011 report on HIV/AIDS services provision in the City of Tshwane were presented in an oral presentation at the 6th SAHARA conference held from 28 November – 2 December 2011 in Port Elizabeth, as well as in a Poster at the 7th PHASA conference held from 28 – 30 November 2011in Sandton.
