GLM course

In April 2010 I did a 4-week online course on GLM (Generalized Linear Models) via Statistics.com. The instructors were Dr. James Hardin and Dr. Joseph Hilbe, authors of the book Generalized Linear Models and Extensions (2001, 2007, Stata Press). The course provided me with insight in the different types of models available for different types of outcome measures (binomial, count, continuous); how to interpret the output of the statistical programme; how to compare different models and decide what would be the best model. Furthermore, it stimulated me to brush up earlier knowledge on regression-techniques and to become more familiar with STATA.

Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation course

In September-October 2011 I did a 5-week online course on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E) from Village Earth (Colorado State University). The course provided me with lots of interesting reading materials, and there were active discussions online with the fellow participants
