HIA kick off meeting in Luanda, Angola
As part of a Health Impact Assessment I developed a health baseline study for a region in Angola which in the future might be exposed to certain impacts as a result of an off-shore oil field development. I travelled to Luanda from 16-20 May 2011 to meet with the consultancy firm ARC that hired me to do the task, and with their client ENI. During the kick off meeting the results of the desk-based research were presented and the plans for the primary data-collection discussed.
