Passion for research
Epi Result is a small company specializing in design, conduct, analysis and reporting of epidemiologic research. Epi Result was founded in 2008 by Dr. Annette Gerritsen. Epi Result has strong capabilities in epidemiologic research and biostatistics, and in quantitative research methodology and research project management.Dr. Annette Gerritsen
Dr. Annette Gerritsen was professionally trained in epidemiology in The Netherlands. She obtained her PhD from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and since then has been registered as senior epidemiologist with the National Committee for Medical-Biological Training in The Netherlands. She has been involved in several research studies and has a respected series of publications in highly regarded international peer-reviewed journals. She is currently working as a senior lecturer in epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Venda, Thohoyandou, Limpopo, South Africa. She is a member of the executive committee of the Public Health Association of South Africa.Focus areas
